Friday Fun is a once a month event.
It is open to everyone of all ages and usually involves something different completely from our normal class roster.

There is limited free onsite parking and TriMet bus #51 and #63 both stop in front of OSA.

Portrait/Figure Enthusiasts here is your opportunity for hands on with instruction and individual help workshop style!

Tony will be our model from 6-9. OSA provides the model for 2 hours plus wine and chips. (Tony will give us a bonus hour, tips appreciated). Easels and tables are here for our use. 

I will demo the Bistre Conte, 2B compressed charcoal on smooth newsprint and will have some for you to try out. I will also demo the wipeout oil technique and have a variety of surfaces for you to look at for painting. Contact me for any questions about materials!

This is suited for total beginners as well as more advanced figure painters.

This is instructed.  You can choose figure, portrait, or floral still life or move around to get different views. I will be helping you with your materials, block ins and the next step!

(Optional) Bring the most recent portrait or figure painting you have been working on if you like for show and tell. It does not have to be from life. We will display those along the wall, and it can be anonymous! Critique can help info everyone.

Oil Painters bring your paints;  we will have drawing materials on hand for quick sketches.
