What is a SIG at Oregon Society of Artists?
It stands for “special interest group” It is for members only at OSA.

SIGs enable members to meet and connect with other artists that share their interests, passions or wish to share their expertise.

They enable us all to learn from one another, giving members a voice, a way to grow our skills and enjoy the opportunity to utilize the OSA building in dynamic ways.

They are member driven, which means you decide when and where you are going to meet and what you want to learn from each other. Groups can schedule meetings in the gallery any time or schedule time in a studio space by calling the office.

SIG groups are encouraged to make the meetings ADA accessible and inclusive of all current members. Groups will send in quarterly reports so we all can celebrate and learn and share as a growing community.

SIG sample groups include:

  • Watercolor, Gouache & Colored Pencils Artists
  • Figure Painting & Drawing Artists
  • OSA Building and Garden “Beautification”

Contact the office if you would like to join a group!
